Pasta with Porcini Sauce
Ingredients:
- 400g of pasta (preferably tagliatelle, pappardelle or fettuccine)
- 1 jar of porcini sauce
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 glass of dry white wine
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the Pasta:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
Prepare the Sauce:
While the pasta cooks, heat the extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Pour the porcini sauce into the pan and add the white wine.
Bring the sauce to the boil, then lower the heat and cook for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the wine has evaporated and the sauce has thickened slightly.
Combine the Pasta with the Sauce:
Drain the pasta al dente, reserving a cup of the cooking water.
Add the drained pasta to the pan with the porcini sauce.
Stir well to combine, adding a little pasta cooking water if the sauce seems too thick.
